  I called to make an appt for my son and wasn't able to get an appt with Dr. Carr so they said I could go to the other Dr. Grant MacDonald at another location. I told them to please put me on a waiting list to see if Dr. Carr had a cancellation and never heard back from them. The day before my son was going to go to this other eye doctor, Dr. MacDonald, my cell phone rang and I answered and the lady said "Can I speak to Jay"? I ask her who was calling and she became offend that I was asking. She never identified herself as working for the eye care clinic. I told her I was his mother and ask her if she knew he was a minor and she said she wasn't given that information, but I had given it at the time I made the appt. with his date of birth. She started being very ugly and being very smart with me. I ask her her name and it was Julie and she works calling patients for this eye care clinic. I was very upset and decided to call Dr. Carr's office and spoke to Camille and she said she needed to know this information about this employee and I told her that my family and I had been coming to Dr. Carr since we moved to Newnan in 1997 and due to this unpleasant employee would not be coming back to their eye care clinic. She said maybe I would change my mind and call them back in a year. Sounds like they are not very concerned about their employees and how those people deal and speak to patients or potential patients or even care if they continue to come to this eye clinic. She was definitely not concerned that our family had been coming to Dr. Carr for the 15 years and she didn't care whether we continued to come due to this situation with the employee Julie. Her resolution was "Maybe you will think about coming back in a year"?? And she's Dr. Carr's office manager?? Sounds like a wrong attitude to make the patients want to continue coming to Dr. Carr and that this practice doesn't care if you do or not because they are very busy and will have more patients. Hmmmmmm

  I've been with Dr. Carr since 2009. It's the same great people at Carr Eye Care and Coweta Eye Care. Always have had great service and attentive care here, Dr Carr is also an O.D. that you can have a fine, relaxed time dealing with and someone I trust with my vision quality. He's also very fond of his lovely chihuahua ;) My only complaint is I'm now living over 70 miles away, but I ain't finding a new eye doctor!

  Love Dr.Carr, my family has been seeing him since his practice at Thomas Crossroads. He is very knowledgeable and has a genuine interest in your eyes. Will continue to see him and encourage anyone looking for the "best" to seek his service.

  Great Eye Doctor. He's phenomenal at finding out what's going on with your eyes. His office also offers a wide selection of eyeglass brands and sunglasses as well. I only trust his office with my eyes.
